Goodbye Utah

Well, it is official. We are moved out completely of Utah. It had been a whirlwind in our home with me getting home from the hospital, packing up the house, loading it up on the truck and then the doing the cleaning all with 2 kids, an infection in my uterus and living out of suitcases, air mattresses and paper goods. It went by really fast which was good since I couldn't dwell on the fact that we were leaving so many wonderful people that became family for us. We were blessed to live in a place that we loved and belonged to a ward that was not only our neighbors since it covered 4 streets, but that became one of our favorite wards that we have ever belonged too. We grew spiritually there and made so many wonderful friends. Utah was very kind to us and we enjoyed the 5 years spent there however, we could never see us making it a permanent residence for us.
Now we are staying with my parents for a couple of weeks before we make the real move to Malibu. We are very excited because we just found out that we got into an apartment that is on campus for married student housing. That will save us a TON of money compared to the apartment that we were originally planning on using in Calabasas. This apartment on campus is smaller than what we wanted and it doesn't have a bath tub which will b e interesting with 2 kids, but we will be on campus, across the street from one of the many beaches in Malibu and saving money at the same time. We are interested in serving in our new ward which is the Pacific Palisades ward. I think it should be interesting since it is a pretty affluent area.
So in a couple of weeks, we will move down there and once my computer is set up, I will be posting pictures.
