Westside Christian School

Elizabeth had her first day of school on Thursday. I was a bit nervous for her because she kept saying that she didn't want to go to school, or the orientation, or get her pictures taken. At the orientation, I had to hold her hand when they were taking her pictures but she went right into her classroom and started playing. The excitement for her was the fact the she brought her lunch to school in her matching princess lunch box. It was a whole family affair dropping her off on her first day and she couldn't have been happier when we dropped her off. She had a great day and looks forward to going back next week. As for Isaac, he doesn't start school for a couple more weeks and enjoyed playing wii with out Elizabeth around.

What? Pirates Take Baths?

Corn Festival

Since we had so much fun last year at the corn festival, we decided to go again this year. It is a cheap way to have a fun family day. The kids think it is the greatest thing that they get to eat just sweet corn for dinner and play for an hour on an inflatable obstacle course. William had fun playing in the blow up baby area with the 3 and under crowd. Before we left, the kids wanted to do the big bungee trampoline jump. They had a great time but Isaac was disappointed that he wasn't able to do any flips and Elizabeth was just thrilled that she was able to jump so high. After a couple of hours we headed home much to the protest of the kids. We look forward to going again next summer.

Just Because

In the wake of the flu, we had one day where all 3 kids felt ok to play outside. Here are some pictures of their day.

The Many Faces of Wills

William is turning into his own person. Not only is he crawling and pulling himself up on things, he also is saying, "Mama." The funny thing about it is that if we say "Mama" like he says it, we get the biggest, cutest frown! I can't help but laugh every time he does it. He loves making us laugh and gives us tons of funny faces through out the day. He also loves to laugh at/with us. I just love this sweet boy!

Week 8

During our last week in CA, we met up with our family in Sacramento and went to the train museum and Old Town. I always enjoy hanging out with them and the kids had fun looking at all trains.

We also went to the Oakland Temple for the kids to run around and view the interactive displays. The flowers were beautiful so we had an impromptu photo shoot.
