We are attempting to potty train Isaac again. Today Isaac said he had to go to the bathroom so we put him on the toilet and he was very happy. He told us that he was going poo poo and he needed a book to read. After a while in the bathroom and a couple of times with him coming out holding his book to show us a picture, Jim went in to go see what he was up too. Well, he decided to take the magazines in
the bathroom
and play with them with the water in the toilet. He thought it was pretty funny, but Jim didn't see any humor in this. So Jim went into the bedroom
to get Isaac's shorts and underwear
and Isaac bolted for the back door in the kitchen with just his shirt on. Isaac then tells us he went pee pee and Jim sees that he peed through the screen door to outside
and explains to Isaac that he was
happy he went to the bathroom outside and not in the kitchen, but that he needs to use the toilet next time. Jim
laughing, comes and gets the camera to take a picture to document it. After
putting the camera away, Jim goes to get Isaac when he sees that in that 30 second period Isaac poops on the rug in the kitchen. Jim is
laughing telling me about it and goes to get the camera to take yet another picture. When Jim puts the camera away and goes back to Isaac with
paper towels and baby wipes, Isaac is standing outside and says that the poop is all gone. That's right. It is no longer in the kitchen because Isaac picked it up and threw it in our backyard. He is so proud of himself standing there rubbing the poo off his hands like it was dirt, he had to tell me on video what he did. Man, I just love being a parent.
