The Last Bit

This is the last little bit of when my Dad was here visiting. We all had fun swimming with the kids. They are both fishes. Elizabeth loves to jump into the 4 ft of water and with out taking a breath after her jump, She goes down to the bottom of the pool to gather and retrieve the rings. Also with my Dad, he took the kids and I shopping and we got a lot of great clothes. One of the things that the kids loved was the fact that my Dad really enjoyed Culver's, a fast food/diner chain. He really enjoyed their butter burgers while the kids enjoyed the fried cheese curds and frozen custard. One thing that we wanted to do but ended up not doing was going to the farm. We had it all planned out and even had a reservation but the morning of it was 45*F, rainy and windy which is way too cold for William to be outside in and Isaac ended up getting pink eye. It is always an adventure at my house. Needless to say, we had plenty of fun playing with my Dad's i-phone, watching movies, reading book and playing outside. My Dad and Isaac enjoyed watching documentaries on Great Tank Battles and then re-creating them with Isaac's toy soldiers and tanks. Isaac became very knowledgeable with the Allied and Axis Powers. We had a great visit and the kids made my Dad promise that he would return. We look forward to seeing him along with my Mom in CA in June.
