Caterpillars

On Wednesday it was in the mid 80's and humid so naturally I told the kids that they have to play outside. This has been our first real warm weather since the beginning of March. Isaac protested and tried to tell me that he couldn't go outside because he already had sweaty arm pits. As you can see, that excuse didn't go very far with me.

We have a ton of furry, little caterpillars all over our yard and they proved to be too exciting for little hands. Elizabeth was obsessed with them! She would hold them, put them in her bike basket to give them a ride, show William and take them to the park. I felt bad for the poor caterpillars knowing too well what happens to bugs, worms and such when they fall  prey in little kid's hands. Isaac found them fascinating but not as much as Elizabeth.

Isaac was too busy playing at the park and having NASCAR races in the sand with his car. William was happy to be jumping in his jumper outside. He was a jumping bean!

Aren't those the cutest little piggy's that you've ever seen?!

Here's my smile

...and now it's gone.
