What a fun day
.
Since finals are approaching next week at BYU, Jim didn't have class on Friday which made the day fun and we took advantage of it. To make things even better, the weather was great on Friday. Once Jim woke up, we took Isaac to Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City. It's a nice zoo, but nowhere near what Jim and I grew up with between the San Fransisco and Oakland zoo. Isaac has been to zoos in the past, but this was the first time that he was really active in seeing the animals which was really fun to watch. I have been trying to teach him animals and their sounds, but I soon realized when we were at the zoo, he only picked up saying one sound: ROOOAAARRR! He would point to birds, monkeys, bears, zebras, camels, etc and roar. Both Jim and I tried to correct him, but then we just kept laughing finding it entertaining and amusing. After the zoo, we drove to the Gateway, and outdoor mall with tons of restaurants, for dinner. All through dinner Isaac was flirting with a table of 5 college girls. He really turned on his charm. They were focused on him through-out ours and their dinner. He LOVED the attention from them! What a little flirt! Needless to say, we all had a fun day and since the days are numbered with Jim's school and work schedule for when we can actually spend time together as a family, it was a fun, memorable day.

I can totally see him loving the attention of the girls. Wish Sydney and him could play together. I understand the absent husband/father thing...I've been a single mom the past month with finals approaching. Looking forward to summer break (our only one in law school).
