Our Newest Addition

At 3pm today, Vanessa started having contractions and by 330 had to wake up Jim because they were really intense and close together. When she got to the hospital at 4pm, she was dilated to a 5. At 530pm, her water was broken and in 20 minutes she went from being dilated to a 5 to a 10 and Elizabeth Marie Wuehler was born at 556pm weighing 7lbs 9oz and 19 inches long. Both Vanessa and Elizabeth are doing well. Vanessa received her wish and went into labor on her own instead of having t o be induced on Monday the 20th. Also, Vanessa achieved her goal of completing her first non-medicated birth! Way to go! Better pictures will come soon. These were taken on the webcam.

CONGRATS!! I just saw you last night, I was not expecting this blog! She looks beautiful! We are very happy for you. Send Isaac over to play in the pool with grandparents if he needs some distraction.

YEAH....the baby girl is here! And YEAH...you aren't prego anymore...I was always happy about that. Anyway...you must post more pics of the sweet Elizabeth asap. We are happy you both are well. Good job Vanessa...you're a champ for going no epidural and enduring that psycho pain. I can't imagine how anyone would survive it. I'm such a baby when it comes to pain....very low tolerance.
